Short Stories

We never know how family may affect others lives. Cam has an insatiable desire for life, and the extent of his full influence is a novel in itself. On this posting you can share a moment or time where Cameron has positively influenced you or even just a short comment about a humorous incident or moment you remember.

I know for me, it is difficult when I am unable to correct a situation. So I can hope to be part of support for him when he wakes up. Instead of waking to remember the tremendous amount of pain he has gone through. He can wake to find support, words on his life and hear or read about how many are there for him.

Hi Cam!! I remember all the funny little tricks you tried to play on the younger tour members...you honestly had some of them convinced about potatoes. I seem to remember a fantastic big blue monster puzzle too... :) Did all the pieces end up finding you?

Love ya!!

Ok Cam,
We both know that it doesn't take much to make me laugh so hard I almost pee my pants, but I have to say, your tongue burp is one of the THE funniest things I have ever witnessed!! I still have that on tape if you ever need to be reminded of that moment in London Heathrow. :)
Not only do you make me laugh, but you also speak the truth of God's word over me at just the right time. What a blessing you have been to my life!

Hey Cameron-
Ok, so there are so many things that come to mind when I think of you and funny things. :) Many of them from tour and many of them from the past year, here in Ventura. One of the most recent ones that come to mind is when you tried to sneak in the "back" way to mine and Katie's apt. and instead of scaring us, you ended up pulling the handle off the hot water closet. That handle, by the way, was still broken when we officially moved out last week. Don't worry, they didn't charge us for it though. :) Can't wait til you are up and around again. Friday "lunch bunch" and movie get togethers just aren't the same without you!
Love you-
Dani

Ok so another funny memory had to be when Sheila, Kelli and I were pranking you guys.. I remember listening to you guys try and figure it out... And you were trying to figure out the codes we left on your door... Hmm maybe an airport code or something HA>.. nope maybe the initials of the people pranking you!!! Hope you still have the street sign and always make sure to look before you walk out of your front door becuase it might be covered with a trash bag!!! :)

k, well, there's the fact that it's been 8 months since I've been here: and I STILL have to look up to you at times to see if you're just kidding: or if what you said really just came out of your mouth. Or the day I noticed your Eva Cassidy cd's: I KNEW you were cool then... :) we'll have to bust out again sometime... that is, if you don't accidentally delete all of your songs from your ipod, again. ;) ~Shauna

Hey Cameron,

I can think of so many fun times we shared in junior high and high school--swimming at the Pierce pool with you, Steph, Curtis and Angela...Mr. Yuck in FHA, band trips, keyboarding class. You made me laugh so hard! I've still got a cassette recording of us singing at a concert (Daddy's Hands) with Mindy playing guitar. And I am still so honored that you sang at my wedding with my Aunt. You are so gifted musically, and you and your family have been such positive influences in my life! I will continue to pray for your healing. Lots of love from Wyoming, Julie Robinson & Family

Hey Cameron,
Good thing I knew they were dog breath strips...because I ate one anyway. But I'll never forget when you gave one to Paris and she licked it and stuck it on her face and started bouncing around backstage.
Cameron I thank you for your friendship. You mean the world to me man. I love you brother. Cant wait to talk to you soon.

Remember once, I told you about that I was talking with Mabo while the TV was playing. Suddenly, I said, "Tell me more@ and Mabo was looking at the and saying, "Where is Demi Moore?" After you heared that you were laughing. That's the first year I am in U of I. My accent was very strong, and always has "Ah" sound. Then, you told me the "Iced Mocha and I smoke" story?
I am always reemmber the time that hanged out with you. You brought a lot of joys to international friends.

Get recovered soon!!!!

Dear Cameron and Family,
Sometimes the journey we walk, has potholes, obstructions, and frightening places, along the way.
People all over the world sre praying for your recovery, I started to put speedy, but God is in control here, and we wait on His timing. Our Lord, your heart for God, and others, will help you along the way. As Kerry used to tell me, "Be Strong, You are strong Mom". I've been at my journey, surgery(new heart Valves), fighting to stay alive for a long time, home, and recovering for 2 1/2 years. Only by the Grace of God, prayer and love, does this child of God walk here. God Bless you Cameron, stay strong, hold tight to the Lord's Hand, He loves you.
Love and our prayers to you,

Hey Cameron~
It's awesome that you're doing so well! I just had Tour R w/ Marco at my church, they were good, but cant hold a candle to Tour E 04! Ok, maybe I'm biased... Anyway-- Erica McLeod stayed with me, we were up late swapping Cameron Bonner stories... it was great!
God Bless and I'm glad you're doing so much better!

Hey Cameron...Its me Eli from Tour A. I just want you to know that you made a big dent in my life. Thank you for showing me alot about character and endurance. God knows I have quit so many things in my life but you are a wonderful example of what perseverance looks like and that the spirit is so much stronger than this body of ours. I am praying for you and your quick recovery. He's not done with you yet. I miss you and love you and hope to talk to you someday soon when you get better.

Love,
Eli "Hortencia"

Every day since we met touring, simply put, I will never forget Cameron. If by merely saying that my very life has been changed by him were enough to barely begin to imply the depth of the impression he made in me. How he's redirected me toward all that may be good in this world. He's a remarkable man and a beautiful person, truly.
