Msg 13 - Surgery Complete!

!!!PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Cameron is complete with his surgery and recovering well. They completed the operation at 1:30 p. m. and were 110% successful. The doctor found Cameron's heart to have a badly damaged aortic valve, but a mitral valve that was still in good condition. After replacing the aortic valve the mitral valve began working properly on its own. This greatly reduced the surgery time and further affirmed the power of God and his ability to create miracles out of the worst situations.

Cameron will be recovering for the next couple weeks, conducting physical therapy to improve his motor skills. His recovery will dictate the timeline for his kidney transplant, which has been put on hold. We look forward to Cameron getting out of the CCU and moving to his own room. We'll get him all the cards of support that have been sent in and make sure he gets his phone so he can call people himself. Once again thank you for all of your prayers and support.

Austin

Praise God! This ordeal has been something that has encouraged me to believe more in the power that prayer truly has. I'll be praying for your recoup Cam, and I hope they kept the hair they shaved off ya for you for later...;-).

HAHA... Pauls comment reminded me of when Jared cut his hair on tour and saved it for you in a tupperware... And then you sprayed it everynight until it turned into a hocky puck!!! :) Maybe that is what the docs are doing :) HA

Cam,
Amazing day, I have to say, you are a miracle, good luck in rehab, just don't overwork your body, i saw you today before your surgery and you were ready to run a marathon so you could get out early, let your body rest and recover, you will make it through in time, as I have said on previously notes to others, for all I know, by this time next year, you'll be running through the jungles of africa. =-)

Take care.

Hi Bonner bunch...
I don't know when i cried more, when we got word of Cameron's first crisis or when we got the wonderful news of the successful heart surgery. (I always cry when i'm happy)
I am so grateful for the faithfulness of God and His healing touch... and will continue to pray for Cameron's healing and for strength for you all. I know the Lord will shorten the "long" road to recovery.
Love to all,
Ronda

God is ever so faithful...

Bonner family,

Rest in His care this weekend! If I could, I'd send you all day trips to a massage clinic... but instead, I'll be praying that you will be able to find the time to take care of yourself... so that when Cam is up and functioning, you can enjoy and have energy for all of the precious moments ahead.

God is SO good! ALL the time, God is GOOD:)
